Women’s Wellbeing Intake and Case manager
This position provides specialist care planning services to support the safety, health and wellbeing of women who have experienced domestic, family, sexual and other forms of gendered violence across their life span. This role supports participants with brief solution focused counselling, case management and advocacy. This support may be provided face-to-face, via telephone or using virtual interfaces.

Internships and Student Placements
Women’s Health and Equality Queensland accepts applications from university students for placements and internships throughout the year. These run alongside semester dates with an intake at the start of the year for first semester, and another mid-year for second semester. Applications should be emailed to admin@wheq.org.au, including a CV and cover letter addressing the EOI below, or enquire through your university’s placement program. We accept students in all areas of our organisation (for Social Work, Masters of Social Work, Bachelor of Counselling and Masters of Counselling the preference is final year placement).

WHEQ are developing a reference group and would like to invite women and people of diverse genders who may be interested in being a member of this group. The aim of this group is to enable WHEQ to engage meaningfully with women from our community to assist in our decision-making process or support continuous improvement. This reference group will include community members and participants, including victim/survivors of gendered violence.
