Sometimes one-on-one counselling isn’t suitable for you. We have several groups available for women with experiences of trauma and violence.
Women’s Health and Equality Queensland provides a range of education and training opportunities for professionals and organisations.

We have a GP come work with us once a fortnight to provide healthcare to both our participants and anyone who may need it. You do not need to be currently engaged with WHEQ to access this service.
WHEQ advises government through submission and consultations, and will continue to advocate to promote and prioritise equality for all marginalised people and true structural change.
Primary prevention of violence looks at the drivers and causes of gendered violence, and looks at campaigns and activities aimed at changing attitudes in order to prevent violence from occurring in the first place.
